Recently we have silently added the RVSiteBuilder on the server Albacore because it was requested. Now all customers can make a good use of this site builder, simply login to your cPanel and scroll down to the section "Software / Services" to get started.

We do not have RVSiteBuilder on every machine but we have RVSiteBuilder available for both European as well US based clients. If you are hosted on a machine that does not include RVSiteBuilder but you are interested to build your website with this tool, then do not hesitate and request your account to be transfered over to a machine that has this tool included.
This transfer will be provided as a service, of course free of charge.

The .tel domain names are available now and they differ from other website addresses because they are meant to host individual entries that together will make up a vast virtual directory.

Companies and individuals are being encouraged to list their phone numbers, websites, postal addresses, e-mail addresses and even their Facebook details on their .tel page.

.tel is your place on the internet, which will act like a switchboard. Kash Mahdavi, the chief executive of Telnic, the London-based company that runs the .tel registry, told the Times.

RVSiteBuilder no longer included in feature list.

DS-Hosting Solutions has removed the RVSiteBuilder feature from our packages and it will not be available on new servers.

The RVSiteBuilder was being used by less than 1% of our client base. In today's web hosting market a site builder is not as relevant as it once was due to the majority of webmasters using scripts such as wordpress, drupal, joomla, etc. or pre-made templates to build their websites. Many of such scripts can be installed automatically using Fantastico which is available on all servers in your cPanel account.

Exisiting servers with RVSiteBuilder installed will be reviewed and if no usage is present it will be removed. We will keep a server with RVSiteBuilder installed for those who require it.

cPanel 11.24 Upgrade coming in November.

Forum change - centralized member log in credentials

Dear members,

We have changed our forum in such way that we now use a seperate database to centralize member log in credentials. This is the first attempt to merge DS-GameSolutions.net members with DS-HostingSolution.net members.The centralized database only stores your log in details. Profiles, such as permission information, display names and avaters etc. are kept with the local applications.

What does this mean?
If you registered for example at this forum (DS-HostingSolutions.net), you can now login at the forum located at DS-GameSolution.net with exact the same email address/password. But both forums are seperated in such way that you can have different profiles at both forums (such as your screen name, avater, photo, signature and overal forum settings).

And yes, you are correct. You should not login with your user name but with the email address you registered your account with.I feel that this will benefit those who have a web hosting account, domain name, support account at DS-HostingSolution.net but also a game server at DS-GameSolution.net .... You won't need to register yet another account but use a single log in.

We will try to make things easy as possible and hope to include even more area's to this centralized member log in database.Think about the game servers control panel at DS-GameSolution.net and the helpdesk, billing account here or even more web applications we may use in the future.
