IMPORTANT TRANSFER INFORMATION
- Make sure that you have access to the email address listed as the admin contact for the domain. Our transfer
process is email verification based, so if your email
address listed for the administrative contact of the domain
is not current, the transfer will fail.
- Please submit your transfer requests well in advance of the expiration date. We are not responsible for domains that expire prior to a successful transfer. You do not lose any time, nor pay for overlapping months; a transfer adds a full year to the current expiration date.
- All .com, .net, .info, .us, .biz and .org
transfers require an EPP transfer authorization code when transferring
domains to DS-Hosting Solutions. Please contact your current registrar to obtain this code prior to submitting your transfer request (where the domain is currently registered).

- We cannot transfer domains that are less
than 60 days old. If you registered your domain within
the last 60 days, please wait until after 60 days before starting
a transfer to DS-Hosting Solutions.
- Make sure your domain name is not locked at the current registrar.
Please contact your current registrar to make sure
there are no holds or locks when transferring your domain
name.
(many registrars will automatically place a lock on the domain for security)
- For .EU domains the current registrant contact email address will receive email from the .EU registry (EURid) which needs to be approved within 7 days of the transfer order. The new expiration date of the domain will be 1 year from the completion date of the transfer.
